All Will be Alright

Tonight I sit in solace

A remnant of the past

An echo of that girl

Who’s light shown like a laugh –

Disarming

A meadow on a summer day

A blue jay’s morning song

A light over the mountain

Breaking in the dawn

Tonight I hide in shadows

Avoiding all the pain

Daring not to face my fears

Alone I’m feeling drained

Hope

Moonbeams on a clear night sky

Dancing Fireflies

A cricket’s chorus singing

Night’s breeze whispers

“All will be alright”

I open up my eyes

Calm the throbbing in my heart

A commanding tree before me

“You will not fall apart.”

Ageless in her beauty

Tall and full of might

Proud she stands in glory

I know that she is right.
